Markley

Jeremy Ruck, Senior Engineer, has been with the firm since 1989. His employment began as a cooperative-education assignment. A Peoria native, he graduated from Bradley University with the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Degree. While at Bradley, Jeremy specialized in RF and transmission lines, high voltage power systems, and control theory, and served as the Chairman of the Student Branch of the IEEE. Jeremy is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois.
Jeremy got his start in broadcasting at the age of 15 working at a local CATV facility as a maintenance technician. Prior to joining the firm, he also worked as a maintenance technician at a local video production house.
For the past several years, he has also been a speaker at the Madison Broadcaster's Clinic in Wisconsin, at the Indiana Broadcaster's Association, and other related conferences. Jeremy is a contributor to both Broadcast Engineering and Radio magazines.
Jeremy, an avid ham, has held the call-sign of WM9C since 1988 and served two terms as the president of the Peoria Area Amateur Radio Club. He is involved in civic and fraternal organizations as well as his church, and is the trustee of the Bradley University Amateur Radio Club.
Jeremy resides with his family about 30 miles southwest of Peoria at Canton, Illinois.
